Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nistor Hrib started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Sabolciu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Neagoe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fc locul targului booed when Sabolciu UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Aliuta kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Valentin Dobrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Lecordier, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Mohamed Lecordier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Tristan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Dobrea saved Sabolciu UFC from getting behind. After having played for 27 minutes, Jean-Christophe Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc locul targului's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Christophe Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Fc locul targului's Jean-Christophe Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Dobrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rareș Zbughină kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mircea Costache. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nistor Hrib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabolciu UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Hrib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Costache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nistor Hribs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Mircea Costache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel Mirciulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sabolciu UFC's Stelian Ungureanu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Fc locul targului's Emanuel Chițes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Hrib got free with Mircea Costache in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Lecordier made a kick off. Sabolciu UFC's Valentin Dobrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Sabolciu UFC from getting a goal against them. Mircea Costache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Hrib, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Sabolciu UFC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Sabolciu UFC's Nistor Hrib looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sabolciu UFC's Valentin Dobrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Lecordier in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Fc locul targului booed when Sabolciu UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fc locul targului getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gheorghe Popescu hit a great ball. When Manuel Mirciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sabolciu UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Mirciulescu couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Mohamed Lecordier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Valentin Dobrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sabolciu UFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Fc locul targului for much of the match.
