Spectators: 7313 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mădălin Barbu got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luca Olteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbucea's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Olteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Vergulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Deyanhur Timisoara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barbucea:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Olteanu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barbucea's Luca Olteanu got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barbucea's zone, Octav Popeneciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Ardelean came out of the goal and Octav Popeneciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Octav Popeneciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octav Popeneciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Ardelean having to interfere. Luca Olteanu struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Marcel Vergulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbucea. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Mădălin Barbu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcel Vergulescu to make any attempt to save it. If Luca Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Vergulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Barbu in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Deyanhur Timisoara's goalkeeper Marcel Vergulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Olteanu. The audience was convinced that Octav Popeneciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Ardelean was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Moise Cutieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barbucea getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alex Dobre hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Octav Popeneciu made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Barbucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Dumitrana to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Vergulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Barbu in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Barbucea's Luca Olteanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Vergulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mădălin Barbu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luca Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Vergulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Iorgovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Robert Rogozea kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 75 minutes in the game Albert Moldovan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Toader Iorgovan. Corneliu Dumitrana kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Mădălin Barbu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Vergulescu having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Barbucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Iorgovan to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Vergulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Olteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Vergulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Olteanu in the 92nd minute of play. Doru Druță might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Ardelean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Druță ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mădălin Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Barbucea were the better team. Barbucea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
