The penalty shot was made by Ramon Nikola, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu. 0-1. Mugur Arieșan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Matias Barros Schelloto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Gheorghe Buta got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gheorghe Buta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Vergulescu having to make a save. After 33 minutes, Gheorghe Buta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gheorghe Buta struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcel Vergulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.DrobetA-Știința-. 38 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Buta notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu. Marcel Vergulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46thth minute of the game Matias Barros Schelloto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Popeneciu was the one to do the kick off. Gheorghe Buta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Vergulescu having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Matias Barros Schelloto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Vergulescu, 0-4. Horia Ceaușescu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Horia Ceaușescu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Ceaușescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Ceaușescu to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Vergulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Buta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Vergulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Buta's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Marcel Vergulescu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Gheorghe Buta. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Buta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Deyanhur Timisoara's zone, Gheorghe Buta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Vergulescu came out of the goal and Gheorghe Buta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Barros Schelloto in the 94th minute of play forced Deyanhur Timisoara's goalkeeper Marcel Vergulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
