The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Mutu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Horea Socoriceanu made a huge save. Horea Socoriceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Kovačić went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Moez Bejaoui scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Socoriceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Matei Chelaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YR☆ Village Superstars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Tiberiu Lepuș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moez Bejaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Horea Socoriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes YR☆ Village Superstars got a freekick which was hit by Moez Bejaoui. Horea Socoriceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Chelaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. YR☆ Village Superstars's Matei Chelaru got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moez Bejaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Socoriceanu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Amânaloae during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Braseu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Amânaloae to maneuver through the defense. Braseu's Horea Socoriceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Braseu from getting a goal against them. Vasile Calini charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Calini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Braseu's Vasile Calini got a free kick in the 40th minute. Adrian Mutu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Socoriceanu. Horea Socoriceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Braseu's Horea Socoriceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Braseu from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Chelaru in the 46th minute of play forced Braseu's goalkeeper Horea Socoriceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Dumitrache made a kick off. Horea Socoriceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 51st minute of play. Pavel Purcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Panin having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Matei Chelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Horea Socoriceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horea Socoriceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwardo Piñeros, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Edwardo Piñeros put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Horea Socoriceanu. Edwardo Piñeros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Socoriceanu having to make a save. Horea Socoriceanu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by YR☆ Village Superstars's Adrian Mutu. But to his dismay, Adrian Mutu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Chelaru in the 67th minute of play forced Braseu's goalkeeper Horea Socoriceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of YR☆ Village Superstars booed when Braseu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Cândea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horea Socoriceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Chelaru in the 70th minute of play. Amadeo Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Socoriceanu having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Braseu's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Hâldan came free, but Horea Socoriceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, YR☆ Village Superstars's Amadeo Frans made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Socoriceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Filip Hâldan made a precise shot to the right of Horea Socoriceanu. Braseu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Matei Chelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horea Socoriceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moise Sângeorzan went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. When YR☆ Village Superstars's Adrian Mutu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braseu's goalie prevented a goal. Horea Socoriceanu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by YR☆ Village Superstars's Matei Chelaru. But to his dismay, Matei Chelaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Rareș Bădilescu lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Braseu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of YR☆ Village Superstars:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Moez Bejaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. YR☆ Village Superstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Moez Bejaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Socoriceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. YR☆ Village Superstars's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
