The audience was convinced that Adrian Mutu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Bâru was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Adrian Mutu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adrian Mutu scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Bâru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Moez Bejaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Bâru. CS FLORESTI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moez Bejaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Adrian Mutu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Bâru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Emil Bâru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moez Bejaoui in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Adrian Mutu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of CS FLORESTI's Emil Bâru. Emil Bâru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Mutu was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Mutu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CS FLORESTI's Emil Bâru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moez Bejaoui in the 59th minute of play. Moez Bejaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emil Bâru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Bâru made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Adrian Mutu sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Matei Chelaru took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Emil Bâru to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Chelaru in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Bâru saved CS FLORESTI from getting behind. YR☆ Village Superstars played a much better game than CS FLORESTI and deserved their victory. The CS FLORESTI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
