Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manole Dumitrache kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in CS FLORESTI's zone, Pavel Purcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Bâru came out of the goal and Pavel Purcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Dumitrache who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Emil Bâru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tiberiu Lepuș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Bâru was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Ivan Bălan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CS FLORESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Braseu the free kick. Ivan Bălan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Braseu's Pavel Purcaru got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aron Pașcanu to make the kick off. Petrică Mihuț hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 59th minute of play forced CS FLORESTI's goalkeeper Emil Bâru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Braseu's Manole Dumitrache made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Bâru was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Manole Dumitrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Dumitrache couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Manole Dumitrache made a precise shot to the right of Emil Bâru. CS FLORESTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 87th minute, Tiberiu Lepuș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, one of CS FLORESTI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CS FLORESTI. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Braseu. Manole Dumitrache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emil Bâru. 5-0. Braseu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
