Răzvan Paraschivescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Şteţ in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, UFC CHRASOAL's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Călinescu came free, but Răzvan Paraschivescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glyn Sugden was a little too slow when Ilie Boerescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Răzvan Paraschivescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Călinescu in the 26th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Paraschivescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of UFC CHRASOAL booed when Davidoaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Enășoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Răzvan Paraschivescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurel Traian. Sergiu Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Răzvan Paraschivescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Davidoaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Mereuță to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes, Richard Frugier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Davidoaia and the UFC CHRASOAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Alexandru Oniga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Negru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the UFC CHRASOAL defense, Aurel Traian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Paraschivescu. The UFC CHRASOAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Paraschivescu should have stopped the shot. Cristian Mereuță scored 2-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Paraschivescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Davidoaia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
