In the 39th minute, Silviu Dulfu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Squad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aron Pașcanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviu Dulfu was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Emil Bâru managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when The Squad's Eric Costin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emil Bâru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, CS FLORESTI's Valentin Bara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Mironescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eric Costin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The CS FLORESTI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Squad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
