The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Ţugui during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Adam Ţugui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, FC Unirea Urziceni's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Ispir came free, but Nicolai Gørler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Ciucă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Petrescu in the 12th minute of the match. Moise Chitimia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Ciucă having to interfere. The supporters of FC Unirea Urziceni booed when Tautau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Borza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes, FC Unirea Urziceni's Iosif Petrescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Unirea Urziceni reached it. Nicolai Gørler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Ispir in the 29th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes, FC Unirea Urziceni's Marcel Tender shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrei Ciucă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Tautau getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vali Ardeleanu hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Nae Mihăescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Unirea Urziceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nae Mihăescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, FC Unirea Urziceni's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Ispir came free, but Nicolai Gørler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moise Chitimia to make the kick off. In the last second Andrei Ciucă throw himself and got hold of the ball when Moise Chitimia in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nicolae Pânzariu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Moise Chitimia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Ciucă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Ciucă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Chitimia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Moise Chitimias short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Andrei Ciucă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aristide Bogatu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrei Ciucă came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristide Bogatu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 70th minute. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Nae Mihăescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adam Ţugui got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Tautau's Adam Ţugui got a free kick in the 78th minute. Moise Chitimia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Andrei Ciucă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When FC Unirea Urziceni's Moise Chitimia in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tautau's goalie prevented a goal. Tautau's Andrei Ciucă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Iuga in the 86th minute of play. Andrei Ciucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Chitimia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tautau's Andrei Ciucă got control of the ball when Moise Chitimia tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Chitimia in the 95th minute of play forced Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
