In the 10th minute, Petru Deșliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodim Robu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nicodim Robu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Şuplăcan in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Perchiu CF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Horaţiu Anastasiu hit a great ball. Răzvan Bordeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Costin Gaiță kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nicodim Robu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Deșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cujmiru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Horaţiu Anastasiu scored to the left of an out of position Augustin Zgaroi, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Cujmiru booed when Perchiu CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Anastasiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Zgaroi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Horaţiu Anastasiu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Perchiu CF booed when Cujmiru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Oroian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Zgaroi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Comăneci in the 45th minute. Augustin Zgaroi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Anastasiu in the 48th minute of the match.

Cornel Nanu took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustin Zgaroi. Augustin Zgaroi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Petru Deșliu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicodim Robu came out and tried to block the shot, but Petru Deșliu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 57th minute. Horaţiu Anastasiu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cujmiru's Călin Muja got a free kick in the 65th minute. Mircea Puișoru was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 69 played minutes Cujmiru got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Puișoru. After 70 played minutes, Perchiu CF's Răzvan Bordeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augustin Zgaroi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perchiu CF reached it. After 72 minutes, Liviu Chițu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perchiu CF and the Cujmiru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Perchiu CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Chițu to maneuver through the defense. Nicodim Robu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Oroian's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Cujmiru's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Lițiu came free, but Augustin Zgaroi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Zgaroi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Lițiu in the 79th minute of the match. If Panait Răducu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Petru Deșliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cujmiru's supporters rose to their feet, but Petru Deșliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Robu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
