Spectators: 7670 (Terracing: 5753, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horaţiu Anastasiu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Horaţiu Anastasiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toader Radovan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Horaţiu Anastasiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Radovan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Anastasiu ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Comăneci during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Perchiu CF's Ionuț Comăneci got a free kick in the 20th minute. Horaţiu Anastasiu took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toader Radovan. Toader Radovan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Chițu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cornel Nanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Radovan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Comăneci in the 44th minute of play forced Fc Buzau's goalkeeper Toader Radovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Iorgovan made a kick off. Ionuț Comăneci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Toader Radovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panait Răducu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panait Răducu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Perchiu CF's Ionuț Comăneci got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Horaţiu Anastasiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toader Radovan. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Anastasiu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Radovan saved Fc Buzau from getting behind. Ionuț Comăneci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Buzau's Cezar Amărculesei managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Răzvan Bordeanu in the 75 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Fc Buzau's goalkeeper Toader Radovan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Anastasiu. Ionuț Comăneci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornel Nanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fc Buzau getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vlad Turceanu hit a great ball. Horaţiu Anastasiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Radovan having to make a save. After having played for 94 minutes, Horaţiu Anastasiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perchiu CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Anastasiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cornel Nanu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Perchiu CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Nanu couldn't finish the play. Perchiu CF played a much better game than Fc Buzau and deserved their victory. The Fc Buzau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
