Valeriu Vătafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Cernea in the 24th minute of play. Cornel Nedelcea kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Laurențiu Caranfil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Beclenut's Cătălin Prislop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valeriu Vătafu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Traian Ciuvică reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergiu Măguran. The goal made the score 2-1. Laurențiu Caranfil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Sergiu Măguran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 48 minutes into the game, Nicodim Cernea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beclenut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titans Hill FC the free kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eusebiu Manciulea made the kick off in the second half. Nicodim Cernea kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Sergiu Măguran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Homescu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Măguran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolae Homescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sergiu Măguran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Titans Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Ciuvică to maneuver through the defense.
