But to his dismay, Laurențiu Caranfil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Valeriu Vătafu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Drăgănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Titans Hill FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cornel Nedelcea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Mititelu in the 16th minute of play forced Titans Hill FC's goalkeeper Valeriu Vătafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolae Homescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Dobrițoiu was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Cazimir Costandache made a precise shot to the right of Valeriu Vătafu. Titans Hill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Valeriu Vătafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Drăgănoiu in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nicodim Rusu made a precise shot to the right of Valeriu Vătafu. Titans Hill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cazimir Costandache scored 1-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valeriu Vătafu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valeriu Vătafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Costandache in the 40th minute of play. Valeriu Vătafu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorneni's Claudiu Drăgănoiu. But to his dismay, Claudiu Drăgănoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Titans Hill FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dorneni were winning 1-4.

51 minutes into the game, Claudiu Drăgănoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Valeriu Vătafu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Claudiu Drăgănoiu put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Valeriu Vătafu. 58 minutes into the match, Titans Hill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Rusu came free, but Valeriu Vătafu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudiu Drăgănoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Valeriu Vătafu made a huge save. The supporters of Titans Hill FC booed when Dorneni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Costandache didn't get a good kick on the ball.
