The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Isac Răduț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Ursulescu. Club Atlético Timișoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Răduț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Isac Răduț elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Club Atlético Timișoara getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Iulian Mihăilă hit a great ball. If Liviu Hănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Moise Mihăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Emanuel Dășanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Ursulescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th match minute, Club Atlético Timișoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Ionescu to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Anton Ursulescu managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when BANAT VIOLA's Isac Răduț fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Timișoara's goalie prevented a goal. Anton Ursulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isac Răduț went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Gigi Barbu came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anton Ursulescu could save by the left post. Liviu Hănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Hănescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Anton Ursulescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Dășanu during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Timișoara booed when BANAT VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Dășanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Iulian Mihăilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Timișoara and the BANAT VIOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Club Atlético Timișoara got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Mihăilă. Thanks to some nice moves Isac Răduț could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Anton Ursulescu however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The BANAT VIOLA fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd match minute, Club Atlético Timișoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Ionescu to maneuver through the defense. BANAT VIOLA's Mihai Tatulici was substituted for Remus Vasiliu. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Timișoara's Lucian Ionescu got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Isac Răduț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atlético Timișoara's Anton Ursulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Răduț in the 66th minute of play. Isac Răduț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Ursulescu having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Timișoara's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Hănescu came free, but Anton Ursulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Ursulescu came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu. But to his dismay, Liviu Hănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Anton Ursulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Hănescu's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Isac Răduț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Ursulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 93 minutes into the match, Isac Răduț notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Club Atlético Timișoara's Anton Ursulescu. Anton Ursulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Răduț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Ursulescu having to interfere. There was no doubt that BANAT VIOLA were the better team. BANAT VIOLA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
