Felix Vidican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Orescu charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigel Orescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandru Timaru's late challenge caught a Blackbeard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandru Timaru helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolves Academy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Blackbeard were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Wolves Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liviu Borza took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Liviu Borza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radu Ciordaș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Negulescu in the 16th minute of play. Dragoş Buznea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Răzvan Gâgea made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Paul Negulescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Răzvan Gâgea to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Buznea in the 23rd minute of play forced Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Buznea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Wolves Academy fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Wolves Academy's Paul Negulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 minutes, Irinel Zburlea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackbeard and the Wolves Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wolves Academy booed when Blackbeard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Zburlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves Academy's zone, Irinel Zburlea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Ciordaș came out of the goal and Irinel Zburlea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Borza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Ciordaș having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Felix Vidican ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Răzvan Gâgea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Negulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Liviu Borza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Liviu Borza rounded Wolves Academy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. In the 63rd minute, Gigel Orescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Gigel Orescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Gâgea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Negulescu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Gâgea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Liviu Borza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Gigel Orescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Gâgea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Dragoş Buznea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Răzvan Gâgea. Blackbeard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragoş Buznea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Wolves Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
