Cazimir Panin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mugurel Măcrineanu sent off a good shot on target. Horaţiu Nacu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Petrică's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Aurel Petrică ran back to his position shaking his head. Buduleasa's Emanuel Benga got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghencea's Horaţiu Nacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Petrică in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Zgîrţa during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Ghencea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Zgîrţa to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Buduleasa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ghencea throughout the match.
