Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Costel Chitimia made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lucrețiu Angheluță. Marcu Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Chifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Bostan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Miclescu having to interfere. The supporters of Stioboreni booed when Popteleac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Popteleac getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eusebiu Nițoi hit a great ball. When Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Popteleac's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st match minute, Popteleac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Gafița to maneuver through the defense. Marcu Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucrețiu Angheluță to make the kick off. Marcu Onișoru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the game, Ionică Ulici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Popteleac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stioboreni the free kick. 63 minutes into the game, one of Popteleac:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute, Eusebiu Nițoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Popteleac's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tirulescu came free, but Marcu Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Popteleac got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Cercelescu. Marcu Onișoru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Popteleac's Marcu Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 79th minute of play. Marcu Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Popteleac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Itu to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Lucrețiu Angheluță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Onișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85th play minutes Emil Chifu shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Marcu Onișoru and just under the crossbar into goal. Tudor Gafița could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dorel Miclescu made a huge save.
