Ionică Ulici kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Remus Șeitan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Popteleac's Marcu Onișoru didn't even have to move. 19 minutes into the match, F.C. Sarsan's goalkeeper Alexandru Decuseară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisc Bostan.

A collision led to Popteleac getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ionică Ulici hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Remus Șeitan led 54 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Popteleac's Marcu Onișoru became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Marcu Onișoru was a little too slow when Remus Șeitan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. Moise Rogozea charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Rogozea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emil Nicolae made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aurelian Ulici. 66 minutes into the game, Tudor Gafița was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Popteleac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Sarsan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Popteleac's Tudor Gafița got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Emil Nicolae was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 81 played minutes F.C. Sarsan got a freekick which was hit by Emil Nicolae. The throw-in from Remus Șeitan in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Popteleac's Moise Rogozea. The F.C. Sarsan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C. Sarsan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
