In the 94th minute, Octav Lazăr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Hotin's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Angheluță came free, but Ionică Socoriceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hotin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stioboreni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
