Gornea-CS's goalkeeper Ion Pacuraru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Albert Răduțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Ionuț Șipoș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Pacuraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Liverpool YnWa's Moise Fenici got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Valer Bojin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisc Elisei. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. If Valer Bojin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Liverpool YnWa's Francisc Elisei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Bojin in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play FC Liverpool YnWa's Albert Răduțu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Albert Răduțu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. F.C. Gornea-CS's Valer Bojin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Iuzbașa charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Iuzbașa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Liverpool YnWa's Emil Iuzbașa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. F.C. Gornea-CS's Ion Pacuraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Șipoș in the 66th minute of play. When Ionuț Șipoș came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Liverpool YnWa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Șipoș couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes in the game Emil Sfârlea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Călin Hapaina. In the 73rd match minute, FC Liverpool YnWa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Șipoș to maneuver through the defense. Călin Hapaina struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Francisc Elisei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Gornea-CS. When Horia Titulescu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the F.C. Gornea-CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horia Titulescu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Bojin in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisc Elisei saved FC Liverpool YnWa from getting behind. Ion Pacuraru made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ionuț Șipoș sent off a good shot on target. Ionuț Șipoș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ion Pacuraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
