The crowd rose to their feet as Flavius Cândroveanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iustin Mureșan. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Iustin Mureșan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rareș Silvian sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Ungur in the 37th minute of play forced F.C. Sarsan's goalkeeper Alexandru Decuseară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Decuseară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Dragușin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Pavel Crăcană sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Sarsan's Alexandru Decuseară didn't even have to move. In the 42nd match minute, F.C. Sarsan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Cândroveanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Flavius Cândroveanu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Flavius Neagoe fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ortiteag's protests and gave Flavius Neagoe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. Sarsan booed when Ortiteag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rareș Silvian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustin Mureșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Cândroveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Rareș Silvian fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Sarsan's protests and gave Rareș Silvian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Rareș Silvian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ortiteag's zone, Rareș Silvian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Mureșan came out of the goal and Rareș Silvian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Cândroveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Rareș Silvian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustin Mureșan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Silvian in the 68th minute of play. Rareș Silvian struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Iustin Mureșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sarsan. If Flavius Cândroveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 played minutes Ortiteag got a freekick which was hit by Călin Cornoiu. After having played for 84 minutes, Aron Corbeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Sarsan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Corbeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustin Mureșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Corbeanu in the 89th minute of the match. Aron Corbeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Corbeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, F.C. Sarsan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Corbeanu to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Călin Cornoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ortiteag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Sarsan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ortiteag's Călin Cornoiu got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Aurelian Ulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Laurențiu Dobrica in the 96th minute really tested Alexandru Decuseară's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
