Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Stioboreni's Costel Chitimia got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gigi Todoran hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Marcel Bilașco came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Stioboreni's Alin Chițes. But to his dismay, Alin Chițes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Barbossa's Mihnea Şerbănescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorel Miclescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Barbossa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sandu Văduva hit a great ball. Marcel Bilașco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Irinel Tirulescu. The supporters of Stioboreni booed when Barbossa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Georgescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barbossa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Lucrețiu Angheluță scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Bilașco, making the score, 2-1. In the 37th minute, Dan Ecobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Narcis Mardare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Miclescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Stioboreni got a freekick which was hit by Paul Danciu. After a defensive mix-up in Stioboreni's zone, Francisc Iliuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Miclescu came out of the goal and Francisc Iliuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Barbossa getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gigi Todoran hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Mihnea Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Miclescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucrețiu Angheluță to make the kick off. Marcel Bilașco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandu Văduva during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute of the match Irinel Tirulescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Bilașco skillfully saved the ball. Marcel Bilașco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 62nd minute of play. Emil Chifu scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Bilașco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stioboreni's Dorel Miclescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Stioboreni from getting a goal against them. With his leg Dorel Miclescu managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Barbossa's Narcis Mardare fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Stioboreni getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alin Chițes hit a great ball. A collision led to Barbossa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mihnea Şerbănescu hit a great ball. A collision led to Barbossa getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gigi Todoran hit a great ball. When Irinel Tirulescu came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Stioboreni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Tirulescu couldn't finish the play. Emil Chifu took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Bilașco. Marcel Bilașco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Barbossa's Marcel Bilașco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 79th minute of play. Marcel Bilașco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Tirulescu in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Stioboreni booed when Barbossa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Mardare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Angheluță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Bilașco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barbossa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stioboreni.
