Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5807, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 115) Barbossa's Narcis Mardare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Narcis Mardare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustin Mureșan having to make a save. Narcis Mardare scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iustin Mureșan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Mardare got free with Iustin Mureșan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 15 minutes, Francisc Iliuță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbossa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Iliuță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Barbossa getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Horia Georgescu hit a great ball. Narcis Mardare's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Iustin Mureșan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 23 minutes into the game, Narcis Mardare lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Iustin Mureșan. 25 minutes into the game, George Cristian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ortiteag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbossa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ortiteag's George Cristian got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Barbossa booed when Ortiteag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Dobrica didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Narcis Mardare came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Barbossa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Mardare couldn't finish the play. In the 36th match minute, Barbossa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Todoran to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Narcis Mardare lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Iustin Mureșan.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sever Dragușin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustin Mureșan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barbossa's Narcis Mardare. But to his dismay, Narcis Mardare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Călin Cornoiu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sandu Văduva hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Narcis Mardare put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iustin Mureșan. The supporters of Ortiteag booed when Barbossa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Todoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Bilașco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Dragușin in the 76th minute of play. Francisc Iliuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Narcis Mardare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbossa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ortiteag's zone, Mihnea Şerbănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Mureșan came out of the goal and Mihnea Şerbănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Mardare in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustin Mureșan saved Ortiteag from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Narcis Mardare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustin Mureșan was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Neagoe in the 95th minute of play forced Barbossa's goalkeeper Marcel Bilașco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Barbossa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
