Adrian Bocaneț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Geambașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Murgescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Bocaneț having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mihail Tulbure's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Minea was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niculae Geambașu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute Denis Pavalescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Minea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordache Minea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Pavalescu in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goalkeeper Iordache Minea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Pavalescu. SSC Steaua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavius Unciuleanu in the 77th minute. Iordache Minea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Pavalescu in the 81st minute of play. Denis Pavalescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iordache Minea came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Pavalescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 84th minute. When Iacob Bordeanu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR☆ Rossoneri™'s protests and gave Iacob Bordeanu a yellow card for diving instead.
