In the 10th match minute, FC ARGES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Şantău to maneuver through the defense. If Tudor Pășcuțoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Flavius Luca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionică Arseni was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sandu Panescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ARGES's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Panescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Arseni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Flavius Luca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corobesti's Ionică Arseni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristinel Cosor kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Dorin Botnaru hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC ARGES getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mugurel Caraiman hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Flavius Luca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ionică Arseni. Flavius Luca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tudor Pășcuțoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Arseni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Vâlcu in the 39th minute of play forced Corobesti's goalkeeper Ionică Arseni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Aurel Şunda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ali Nejat Kaçan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Bulă was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, FC ARGES's goalkeeper Adrian Carp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Bulă. After a rather tough play, Corobesti's Cezar Goma got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes Corobesti got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Bourceanu. After a defensive mix-up in Corobesti's zone, Cristinel Cosor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Arseni came out of the goal and Cristinel Cosor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Şunda got free with Adrian Carp in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionică Arseni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Luca in the 71st minute of the match. Aurel Şunda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Flavius Luca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionică Arseni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cristinel Cosor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Bulă got in the 81st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adrian Carp handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Flavius Luca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Arseni. Corobesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavius Luca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to FC ARGES getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristinel Cosor hit a great ball. Aurel Şunda kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Mugurel Căliman hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ionică Arseni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Luca, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The FC ARGES support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
