Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matei Zbârnea started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in SSC Steaua fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! When FC ARGES's Matei Zbârnea in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SSC Steaua's goalie prevented a goal. Matei Zbârnea hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Adrian Bocaneț came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ARGES's Matei Zbârnea. But to his dismay, Matei Zbârnea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Sandu Panescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ARGES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Steaua the free kick. After 14 played minutes FC ARGES got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Panescu. Mihail Tulbure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Chițu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Chițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SSC Steaua getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Narcis Chițu hit a great ball. If Teodor Vâlcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, FC ARGES's Cristinel Cosor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Bocaneț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by SSC Steaua's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristinel Cosor was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ARGES's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Teodor Vâlcu drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind SSC Steaua's goalkeeper. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Tulbure got free with Adrian Carp in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC ARGES's Adrian Carp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC ARGES from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Steaua's zone, Matei Zbârnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Bocaneț came out of the goal and Matei Zbârnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

In the 53rd minute, Mihail Tulbure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Matei Zbârnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SSC Steaua's Adrian Bocaneț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59th play minutes Matei Zbârnea shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Adrian Bocaneț and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Matei Zbârnea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ARGES's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Zbârnea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Bocaneț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Adrian Bocaneț managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when FC ARGES's Matei Zbârnea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Matei Zbârnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC ARGES's Cristinel Cosor got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC ARGES getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vlad Bălășescu hit a great ball. Flavius Unciuleanu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Adrian Carp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Steaua. In the 81st minute, Niculae Ciulei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristinel Cosor might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Bocaneț. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Cosor ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrian Bocaneț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Vâlcu in the 84th minute of the match. Adrian Bocaneț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Zbârnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Matei Zbârnea in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrian Bocaneț, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mihail Tulbure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Zbârnea came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrian Bocaneț could save by the left post. The corner ended in Cristinel Cosor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SSC Steaua's Adrian Bocaneț did a great save. 93 minutes into the game, Ernest Săvulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SSC Steaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ARGES the free kick. A collision led to SSC Steaua getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ernest Săvulescu hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes, FC ARGES's Cristinel Cosor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Bocaneț came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC ARGES reached it. After having played for 96 minutes, Cristinel Cosor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARGES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Cosor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC ARGES played a much better game than SSC Steaua and deserved their victory. The SSC Steaua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
