Spectators: 7755 (Terracing: 5818, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Galaţi AS's Vlad Şimoc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Zdrelea got free with Codrin Tănăsocă in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Codrin Tănăsocă stood somewhat misplaced when Cornel Zdrelea came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. After 7 played minutes Galaţi AS got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Pipirig. Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adam Chițan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Codrin Tănăsocă managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Radovan FCM's Cornel Zdrelea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vlad Şimoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Chițan having to interfere. Cornel Zdreleas short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Codrin Tănăsocă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 19 minutes, Vlad Şimoc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaţi AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Şimoc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Radovan FCM's Ştefan Toma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cornel Zdrelea sped through Galaţi AS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Codrin Tănăsocă. Cornel Zdrelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Codrin Tănăsocă made a huge save. Codrin Tănăsocă made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cornel Zdrelea sent off a good shot on target. Irinel Ghioane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Codrin Tănăsocă made a huge save. The supporters of Galaţi AS booed when Radovan FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Dinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, Radovan FCM's Cornel Zdrelea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codrin Tănăsocă was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Cătălin Ţintea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichifor Pipirig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornel Zdrelea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Codrin Tănăsocă having to make a save. When Mugur Bulzan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Adam Chițan made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei sent off a good shot on target. Adam Chițan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Radovan FCM were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Galaţi AS for a fine match.
