Spectators: 7869 (Terracing: 5903, Seating: 1810, VIP seats: 156) Brusturoasa's Augustin Mailat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valeriu Vâtcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Pășcuțoiu struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Albert Chesaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ARGES. FC ARGES's Adrian Carp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mailat in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes FC ARGES got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Cosor. Albert Chesaru stood somewhat misplaced when Matei Zbârnea came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brusturoasa's goalkeeper Albert Chesaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mugurel Caraiman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Adrian Carp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Mailat in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ARGES's Matei Zbârnea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albert Chesaru. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Matei Zbârnea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Chesaru. Brusturoasa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Zbârnea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 37th minute, Matei Zbârnea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albert Chesaru. The goal made the score 5-0. Matei Zbârnea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Albert Chesaru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Carp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Vâtcu in the 46th minute of play.

With his leg Adrian Carp managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Brusturoasa's George Brânza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Augustin Mailat charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Mailat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brusturoasa's Augustin Mailat got a free kick in the 58th minute. FC ARGES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Augustin Mailat scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Carp, making the score, 5-1. Teodor Vâlcu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Vâlcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brusturoasa booed when FC ARGES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Augustin Mailat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Carp. That made the score 5-2 in the 72 minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Brusturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Vâtcu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game Matei Zbârnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brusturoasa's Albert Chesaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Matei Zbârnea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ARGES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brusturoasa the free kick. Tudor Pășcuțoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Chesaru having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Zbârnea in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Chesaru saved Brusturoasa from getting behind. Ionuț Mircescu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Mircescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matei Zbârnea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, Brusturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Vâtcu to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Matei Zbârnea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Albert Chesaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
