Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matei Zbârnea started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TNL Sector 3's zone, Matei Zbârnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Purcărete came out of the goal and Matei Zbârnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Zbârnea in the 5th minute of play forced TNL Sector 3's goalkeeper Petre Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Caraiman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Matei Zbârnea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Purcărete was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Tudor Pășcuțoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Purcărete having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Matei Zbârnea made a precise shot to the right of Petre Purcărete. TNL Sector 3's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tudor Pășcuțoiu scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Purcărete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodor Vâlcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petre Purcărete. TNL Sector 3's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sabin Inculeț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Matei Zbârnea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARGES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Zbârnea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Cosor in the 28th minute of play forced TNL Sector 3's goalkeeper Petre Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to TNL Sector 3 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mihăiţă Leahu hit a great ball. TNL Sector 3's Petre Purcărete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Cosor in the 32nd minute of play. When Petrică Duțulescu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TNL Sector 3's protests and gave Petrică Duțulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Petrică Duțulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Teodor Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC ARGES fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when FC ARGES's Matei Zbârnea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petre Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Vâlcu in the 38th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of TNL Sector 3:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC ARGES:s goal. The referee gave FC ARGES a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matei Zbârnea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TNL Sector 3's Petre Purcărete. 0-4. If Matei Zbârnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valer Ficsinescu made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, FC ARGES's Tudor Pășcuțoiu made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petre Purcărete was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match Matei Zbârnea climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-6 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Petre Purcărete. Adrian Carp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Inculeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Radu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Matei Zbârnea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Purcărete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Petre Purcărete was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mugurel Caraiman. Tudor Pășcuțoiu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in TNL Sector 3's zone, Matei Zbârnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Purcărete came out of the goal and Matei Zbârnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
