An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Staicu in the 28th minute of play forced Sarafinesti's goalkeeper Andrei Bântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sarafinesti's Cornel Iorga got a free kick in the 28th minute. Sarafinesti's Andrei Bântu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sarafinesti from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Buda to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Amurăriței in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Bântu saved Sarafinesti from getting behind. Costel Patriciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Buciuceanu having to interfere.
