An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Buda in the 15th minute of play forced Äç.Jökërül 89's goalkeeper Dacian Romulus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Iorgulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Andrei Bântu made a huge save. Emil Butuc's late challenge caught a Sarafinesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Butuc helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Sarafinesti got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Iorga. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Buda made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Sarafinesti's Costel Patriciu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dacian Romulus was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th match minute, Äç.Jökërül 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Chira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cristinel Buda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarafinesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristinel Buda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Romulus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Romulus came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarafinesti's Costel Patriciu. But to his dismay, Costel Patriciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 68 minutes into the match, Sarafinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Ghimiș came free, but Andrei Bântu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornel Iorga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Leonard Gănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andrei Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonard Gănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute.
