Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Durbac in the 4th minute of play forced F.C.Progresul Timisoara's goalkeeper Constantin Buciuceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gigi Corbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Buciuceanu made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gigi Corbu sent off a good shot on target. Constantin Buciuceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Corbu in the 19th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Gigi Corbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zlasti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Corbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Buciuceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Durbac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Zlasti's Gigi Corbu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Buciuceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gigi Corbu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Durbac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Amurăriței got free with Octav Mircescu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Staicu in the 57th minute of play forced Zlasti's goalkeeper Octav Mircescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Progresul Timisoara's zone, Anton Durbac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Buciuceanu came out of the goal and Anton Durbac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to F.C.Progresul Timisoara getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nae Andrieșanu hit a great ball. Constantin Buciuceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigi Corbu went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Codrin Amurăriței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Mircescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Calistrat Coroian fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zlasti's protests and gave Calistrat Coroian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zlasti getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Calistrat Coroian hit a great ball. If Gigi Corbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcu Tărbac fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zlasti's protests and gave Marcu Tărbac a yellow card for diving instead. Marcu Tărbac hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Gigi Corbu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Zlasti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
