Äç.Jökërül 89's Dacian Romulus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Verzea in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Constantin Danciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. NeverGiveUp's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Danciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Romulus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, NeverGiveUp's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Gănescu came free, but Avram Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avram Nicea was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Gelu Iorgulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gelu Iorgulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.

Äç.Jökërül 89's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Verzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Äç.Jökërül 89's Dacian Romulus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Äç.Jökërül 89 from getting a goal against them. NeverGiveUp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
