A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iurie Novăceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Novăceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for calinpff! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Greoni. Octav Holban stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iordache Mohora. 1-0. Damian Sfetcu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Emanuel Prezan struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Iordache Mohora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greoni. In a very dangerous position, a player in calinpff fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Dan Dragoș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Josan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Prezan got free with Iordache Mohora in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Sorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greoni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave calinpff the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Turcescu during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduard Turcescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Greoni's Damian Bobeanu got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Iordache Mohora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Prezan in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Greoni getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eugen Chilian hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Greoni's Fabian Macarie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Mohora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Greoni's Fabian Macarie got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iordache Mohora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Macarie in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes calinpff got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Ghișe. Fabian Macarie took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Mohora. Iordache Mohora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Emanuel Prezan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iordache Mohora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Prezan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Greoni's goalkeeper Iordache Josan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Fabian Macarie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Mohora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Greoni's Emanuel Prezan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Mohora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Greoni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
