Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vintilă Bidulescu made the kick off which started today's match. Evaristo Argina came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti's Lucian Achifoaiei. But to his dismay, Lucian Achifoaiei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iulian Urducea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Tonegaru in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Campina's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Bujor came free, but Evaristo Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Narcis Tonegaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steaua Bucuresti's Iulian Urducea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Ceaușescu got free with Iulian Urducea in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Urducea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Cândroveanu in the 18th minute. Campina's Narcis Tonegaru suffered a concussion in the 19th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Lucian Achifoaiei charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Achifoaiei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Lucian Achifoaiei got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ionuț Cândroveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Iulian Urducea made a huge save. If Aurel Ciocoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Bujor scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Argina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Achifoaiei got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 33rd minute, Lucian Achifoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steaua Bucuresti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Vintilă Bidulescu scored to the left of an out of position Iulian Urducea, making the score, 1-2. When Ionuț Cândroveanu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Campina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Cândroveanu couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Campina's Iulian Urducea threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vintilă Bidulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the game, Ionuț Cândroveanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iulian Urducea. Ionuț Cândroveanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Iulian Urducea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Bidulescu in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurel Ciocoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Filip Buciuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Aurel Ciocoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurel Ciocoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Argina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ionuț Cândroveanu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Campina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Cândroveanu couldn't finish the play. Campina's Evaristo Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Bujor in the 58th minute of play. Iulian Urducea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Cândroveanu in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Bidulescu came free, but Iulian Urducea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Ceaușescu in the 67th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti's goalkeeper Iulian Urducea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Bidulescu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Iulian Urducea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campina. In the 70th minute, Augustin Ceaușescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Urducea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When Campina's Ionuț Cândroveanu in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Bucuresti's goalie prevented a goal. Evaristo Argina was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Aurel Ciocoiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurel Ciocoiu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After 77 minutes of play, Campina's Vintilă Bidulescu made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Urducea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 5-3 became the score in the 82nd minute when Vintilă Bidulescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Campina's Evaristo Argina got control of the ball when Leontin Ghionaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Steaua Bucuresti's Evaristo Argina threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iordache Bujor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iulian Urducea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Bidulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Urducea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustin Ceaușescu went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute Vintilă Bidulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Urducea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Campina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
