Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iustinian Anisie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Girleasa CSM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gigi Zamfira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iurie Căliman went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Iurie Căliman made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Zamfira. Garcovul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Nichifor Adam in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Garcovul's Anton Romulus. 24 minutes into the game, Girleasa CSM's Mugurel Crăcană nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Zamfira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Garcovul's Anton Romulus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nichifor Adam, made in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Iurie Căliman made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Zamfira. Garcovul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Crăcană in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigi Zamfira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Zamfira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Baicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Iurie Căliman notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Garcovul's Gigi Zamfira. Gigi Zamfira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Garcovul's zone, Mugurel Crăcană stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Zamfira came out of the goal and Mugurel Crăcană tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigi Zamfira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Baicea in the 45th minute of play. Gigi Zamfira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Căliman in the 46th minute of play. Nae Baicea kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Ponor made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mugurel Crăcană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Zamfira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Girleasa CSM's Iurie Căliman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigi Zamfira. That made the score 0-9 after 66 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Prudencio Quirce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gigi Zamfira, 0-10. Cristinel Ponor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gigi Zamfira made a huge save. Girleasa CSM's Andrei Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Levința in the 74th minute of play. Andrei Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Anisie in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Girleasa CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Anisie came free, but Andrei Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Anisie, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Garcovul's Gigi Zamfira got control of the ball when Iurie Căliman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Garcovul defense, Cristinel Ponor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigi Zamfira. The Garcovul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Zamfira should have stopped the shot. Gigi Zamfira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Crăcană, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Căliman in the 96th minute of play forced Garcovul's goalkeeper Gigi Zamfira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Girleasa CSM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
