Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iustinian Anisie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Liviu Petriceanu lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Candelele:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Garcovul a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Traian Şoiman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Candelele's Petre Mironescu. 0-1. Petre Mironescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Anisie, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Sorin Papadima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Sergiu Levința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Mironescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Candelele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Dragota to maneuver through the defense. Garcovul's Gigi Zamfira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Dragota in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Călin Nasta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garcovul's Gigi Zamfira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Anisie in the 26th minute of play forced Candelele's goalkeeper Petre Mironescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Dragota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Zamfira having to make a save. Călin Nasta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Zamfira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Nasta in the 36th minute of play forced Garcovul's goalkeeper Gigi Zamfira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Garcovul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Crăiță to maneuver through the defense.

After having played for 54 minutes, Călin Nasta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Nasta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Dragota hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Candelele's Petre Mironescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Candelele from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Augustin Pitiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Nasta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gigi Zamfira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sergiu Levința had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Mironescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Levința in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Candelele getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Călin Nasta hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Panait Stârcea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Garcovul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
