Spectators: 6808 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1023, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radu Tarcu started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herastrau's goalkeeper Radu Constantin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Moise Lucan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Liviu Cândreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC STRENGARIII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herastrau the free kick. After 12 played minutes FC STRENGARIII got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Cândreanu. 14 minutes into the match, Herastrau's Remus Şteţ broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lucrețiu Stroici came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Herastrau's Horaţiu Zorlescu. But to his dismay, Horaţiu Zorlescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Radu Tarcu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Stroici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Tarcu in the 23rd minute of the match. Lucrețiu Stroici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Tarcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Grigore Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Radu Constantin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Grigore Abraham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radu Constantin, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Herastrau's goalkeeper Radu Constantin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radu Coraș. Valentin Orădan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Radu Tarcu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Grigore Abraham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC STRENGARIII's Lucrețiu Stroici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Tarcu in the 44th minute of play. With his leg Radu Constantin managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when FC STRENGARIII's Grigore Abraham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Herastrau's zone, Radu Coraș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Constantin came out of the goal and Radu Coraș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grigore Abraham made a kick off. Radu Constantin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Abraham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Zota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC STRENGARIII's Petruț Ghimiș got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Ferdinand Zota made a precise shot to the right of Radu Constantin. Herastrau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Abraham in the 70th minute of play forced Herastrau's goalkeeper Radu Constantin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC STRENGARIII's Ferdinand Zota got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Orădan during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Herastrau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Orădan to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Dugulescu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Grigore Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Radu Constantin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Radu Coraș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ferdinand Zota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Radu Coraș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC STRENGARIII fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herastrau's goalkeeper Radu Constantin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigore Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Radu Constantin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Radu Coraș came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC STRENGARIII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Coraș couldn't finish the play. Radu Constantin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Abraham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FC STRENGARIII players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
