Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narcis Lixandru started the match with the kick off. Ioan Rioşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Lixandru, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Parnesti booed when Crangaşi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Siniştean didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Neculuță in the 15th minute of play forced Crangaşi United's goalkeeper Avram Bârsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parnesti's Valeriu Jecu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Crangaşi United's Narcis Lixandru got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ioan Rioşanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Lixandru in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Șerban Velicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Crangaşi United's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ciutacu came free, but Avram Bârsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Velicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
After a defensive mix-up in Crangaşi United's zone, Sever Neculuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Bârsan came out of the goal and Sever Neculuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Șerban Velicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Bârsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Șerban Velicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mihăiţă Siniştean was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Crangaşi United got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Siniştean. Avram Bârsan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ciutacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Parnesti defense, Narcis Lixandru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ioan Rioşanu. The Parnesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Rioşanu should have stopped the shot. Șerban Velicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Narcis Lixandru came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Crangaşi United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Lixandru couldn't finish the play. If Sever Neculuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crangaşi United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Parnesti's much stronger midfield.
