After 2 minutes, Marin Bobailă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivancauti and the UFC Tariverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, Călin Nisipeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Tariverde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivancauti the free kick. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Călin Nisipeanu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Purcaru in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Aluneanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes, Corneliu Purcaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivancauti and the UFC Tariverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Corneliu Purcaru kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Horia Bălăiță's late challenge caught a Ivancauti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horia Bălăiță helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Horia Bălăiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Roşu in the 14th minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Bogdan Aluneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ivancauti booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Logofătu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Roşu in the 19th minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Bogdan Aluneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Purcaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Ivancauti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Lupulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Iacob Logofătu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC Tariverde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pavel Dogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Iacob Logofătu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Tariverde and the Ivancauti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iacob Logofătu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to UFC Tariverde getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Iacob Logofătu hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Marcel Jupâneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivancauti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Jupâneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Corneliu Purcaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Aluneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Aanuţei, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Marcel Jupâneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ionel Roşu made the kick off in the second half. UFC Tariverde's Bogdan Aluneanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save UFC Tariverde from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Ivancauti's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Nisipeanu came free, but Gavril Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iacob Logofătu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Ionel Roşu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Tariverde's Bogdan Aluneanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iacob Logofătu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavril Braniște read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ivancauti's Bogdan Aluneanu threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corneliu Purcaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Ivancauti's Dinu Lupulescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Iacob Logofătu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gavril Braniște tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Aluneanu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Corneliu Purcaru sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Jupâneanu scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Aluneanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Iacob Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the UFC Tariverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Logofătu couldn't finish the play. Gavril Braniște took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Aanuţei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, UFC Tariverde's Stelian Aanuţei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavril Braniște made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Many of Ivancauti's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ivancauti may have spent more time on the ball, but UFC Tariverde were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
