The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Oltul Slatina's goalie and right to Romeo Colin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Oltul Slatina's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FC Oltul Slatina's Manuel Lovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Cumpan in the 11th minute of play. FC Oltul Slatina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Sergiu Zgrăbunţa scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Lovinescu, making the score, 2-0. Manuel Lovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Zgrăbunţa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Oltul Slatina's Valdemar Velasco got a free kick in the 29th minute. Horea Vrejiu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Vrejiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Scislowicz made a kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Coman. Slobozia FC's Luca Iacobescu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Oltul Slatina's Nichifor Bornescu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 60th minute of play forced FC Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Manuel Lovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Oltul Slatina's Manuel Lovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Boboc in the 61st minute of play. Manuel Lovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Iacobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. FC Oltul Slatina made a substitution. Olimpiu Antoniu replaced Mircea Chircu. After 69 minutes FC Oltul Slatina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. FC Oltul Slatina's Manuel Lovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 83rd minute of play. Manuel Lovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Lovinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Iacobescu in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, FC Oltul Slatina's Flavius Nistor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Flavius Nistor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Oltul Slatina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Flavius Nistor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Slobozia FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luca Iacobescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Oltul Slatina's Manuel Lovinescu. 4-0. The supporters of Slobozia FC booed when FC Oltul Slatina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Antoniu didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Slobozia FC had played much better football throughout.
