Dunărea Călăraşi's Marian Mustăcilă got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Dunărea Călăraşi's Aurel Stătescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gheorghe Maiorescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gheorghe Maiorescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Gușatu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Vuia took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gheorghe Maiorescu. Gheorghe Maiorescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Cavalerii Viola defense, Marian Mustăcilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Maiorescu. The Cavalerii Viola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Maiorescu should have stopped the shot. Gheorghe Maiorescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Mustăcilă went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Cavalerii Viola's Gheorghe Maiorescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Stătescu in the 23rd minute of play. Aristide Vuia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Vuia in the 26th minute of play forced Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Gheorghe Maiorescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Maiorescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Stătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Octav Malcoci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Aristide Vuia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunărea Călăraşi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Vuia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Mustăcilă in the 31st minute of play forced Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Gheorghe Maiorescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavalerii Viola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marian Mustăcilă was slow to take the kick. During this time Dunărea Călăraşi's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Dunărea Călăraşi's Octav Malcoci getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gheorghe Maiorescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Gușatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Cavalerii Viola defense, Octav Malcoci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Maiorescu. The Cavalerii Viola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Maiorescu should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Aurel Stătescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Maiorescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After the first half Dunărea Călăraşi were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Octav Malcoci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gheorghe Maiorescu. The goal made the score 0-7. 58 minutes into the match, Marian Mustăcilă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gheorghe Maiorescu, 0-8. With a little luck, Cavalerii Viola's Gheorghe Maiorescu got control of the ball when Marian Mustăcilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gheorghe Maiorescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Vuia in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Dunărea Călăraşi's Aristide Vuia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gheorghe Maiorescu. Gheorghe Maiorescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. With an all-out effort, Dunărea Călăraşi's Gheorghe Maiorescu threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Stătescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th play minute Marian Mustăcilă came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gheorghe Maiorescu. 0-10. Marius Radovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Mardare, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gheorghe Maiorescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Gheorghe Maiorescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Vuia in the 87th minute of play. If Ferdinand Mardare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Maiorescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moise Panaitoiu in the 92nd minute. With an all-out effort, Dunărea Călăraşi's Gheorghe Maiorescu threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aristide Vuia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Vuia in the 96th minute of play forced Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Gheorghe Maiorescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dunărea Călăraşi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
