When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Mustăcilă made a kick off. Dunărea Călăraşi's Marius Radovan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunărea Călăraşi from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Oltul Slatina booed when Dunărea Călăraşi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Gușatu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
