Abel Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göksun Kadrettin went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Adam Claudiescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Mihai Mândru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BOTOSANI - BTF.'s Tiberiu Cutean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Banban Seedorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Cutean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Mândru in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, CF CHELSEA's goalkeeper Abel Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göksun Kadrettin. 47 minutes into the game, Kristiyan Gradinarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Ferreira. Kristiyan Gradinarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Florescu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mihai Mândru managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF CHELSEA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihai Mândru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Cutean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
