Moise Robu stood somewhat misplaced when Teodor Unchiaşu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. In the 22nd match minute, Zimnicea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Paulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Ferdinand Şumălan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zimnicea's David Turlea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Zimnicea's Ion Pască in 28 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Moise Robu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Moise Robu was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Teodor Unchiaşu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodor Unchiaşu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when Zimnicea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Unchiaşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Teodor Unchiaşu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zimnicea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Unchiaşu couldn't finish the play.
