Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Sinulescu in the 4th minute of play. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Sinulescu in the 9th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chorache Tofiño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gigel Tudor. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Marco van Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes, Ştefan Sinulescu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karol Czempa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gigel Tudor came out and tried to block the shot, but Karol Czempa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, x-TreM KiLLerSS's Ştefan Sinulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Tudor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Sinulescu made a kick off. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Chira in the 52nd minute of play. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Chira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chorache Tofiño in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Sinulescu in the 60th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Tudor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Sinulescu in the 60th minute. Gigel Tudor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Czempa went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Mirel Lovera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Horaţiu Coșeriu got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Ştefan Sinulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. x-TreM KiLLerSS's Gigel Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 74th minute of play. Progresul Pitesti were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after x-TreM KiLLerSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Logofătu took the corner. Progresul Pitesti's Florin Logofătu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigel Tudor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Czempa in the 78th minute of play forced x-TreM KiLLerSS's goalkeeper Gigel Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, x-TreM KiLLerSS's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Czempa came free, but Gigel Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Pitesti's zone, Marco van Basten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Marco van Basten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco van Basten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Martin Tudor made a huge save. With his leg Martin Tudor managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when x-TreM KiLLerSS's Marco van Basten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute, Ştefan Sinulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Sinulescu in the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of x-TreM KiLLerSS booed when Progresul Pitesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyde Palmington didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Progresul Pitesti were victorious despite being under pressure from x-TreM KiLLerSS for much of the match.
