The audience was convinced that Petrică Udrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihnea Ianculescu was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The supporters of FC.Ripensia-Timisoara booed when Rachel UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's zone, Petrică Udrescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Ianculescu came out of the goal and Petrică Udrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Rachel UFC's Petrică Udrescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihnea Ianculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The FC.Ripensia-Timisoara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rachel UFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rachel UFC.
