After 14 minutes, Cristian Chivu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABR RAHOVA and the Fc Universitatea Cluj players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Tomulescu to make the kick off. After 54 minutes ABR RAHOVA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marin Buzescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tautrimas Čepulis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Calle Arensberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 59 minutes into the game, Felix Tănase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Laurențiu Ene was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calle Arensberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Tomulescu in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Signori in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Ene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ABR RAHOVA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calle Arensberg should have stopped the shot. Mădălin Bourceanu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ABR RAHOVA were victorious despite being under pressure from Fc Universitatea Cluj for much of the match.
