Spectators: 8079 (Terracing: 6061, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Faustão Abraão took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Zhou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Nistor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandria Team08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radu Barna in the 6th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Zhou heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 8 minutes, Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexandria Team08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Ştefan Ghiorman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alex Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandria Team08 the free kick. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Ghiorman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Abraão came free, but Iacob Nistor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Basarab Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Nistor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexandria Team08's Zhou in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alex Team's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Hurmuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Nistor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Nistor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhou went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Sergiu Hurmuz got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou in the 31st minute of play forced Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Boerescu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Alexandria Team08's Zhou in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alex Team's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Zhou sped through Alex Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iacob Nistor. Iacob Nistor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ştefan Ghiorman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Radu Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Nistor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Alexandria Team08 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Hanot to make the kick off. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Carpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhou scored 0-5 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iacob Nistor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Alex Team defense, Faustão Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Nistor. The Alex Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Nistor should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandria Team08's Basarab Panciu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iacob Nistor. That made the score 0-7 after 62 minutes of play. Faustão Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Corneliu Văcăroiu replaced Radu Barna. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Zhou sped through Alex Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iacob Nistor. Iacob Nistor was a little too slow when Faustão Abraão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-10. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhou in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Nistor saved Alex Team from getting behind. Alexandria Team08's Corneliu Văcăroiu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by David Răduța in the 81 minute of the game. Alex Team's Iacob Nistor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Alex Team from getting a goal against them. Iacob Nistor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Abraão in the 86th minute of play. Zhou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iacob Nistor came out and tried to block the shot, but Zhou slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 88th minute. Iacob Nistor was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Faustão Abraão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustão Abraão really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. The Alex Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alexandria Team08 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
