F.C MirCeA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dacii Liberi - IASI the free kick. After a rather tough play, F.C MirCeA's Cristinel Zbârnea got a free kick in the 6th minute. Daniel Roșeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Nero in the 13th minute of play. Adam Pârcălab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Roșeanu having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, F.C MirCeA's Victor Neguțu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petre Ilica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Neguțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Petre Ilica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Zbârnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Felix Mitrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Roșeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Dacii Liberi - IASI booed when F.C MirCeA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Nițoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Coraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Roșeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Sfârlea in the 37th minute of the match. Victor Neguțu charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Neguțu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes F.C MirCeA got a freekick which was hit by Victor Neguțu. In the 39th minute, Felix Mitrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Iulian Sfârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Sfârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Felix Mitrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Roșeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Zbârnea to make the kick off. F.C MirCeA's Victor Neguțu got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Victor Neguțu off the ground. A collision led to F.C MirCeA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Victor Neguțu hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mathias de Hondt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Roșeanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dacii Liberi - IASI reached it. Daniel Roșeanu was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Adam Pârcălab capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Pârcălab really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When Felix Mitrea came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Dacii Liberi - IASI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Mitrea couldn't finish the play. Daniel Roșeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mitrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C MirCeA's Daniel Roșeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save F.C MirCeA from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, F.C MirCeA's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Sfârlea came free, but Daniel Roșeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C MirCeA's Daniel Roșeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Mitrea in the 80th minute of play. Daniel Roșeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Sfârlea in the 85th minute of the match. If Demetrio Nero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The F.C MirCeA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
